"Demon Red" Creature- Pinched Puffer Perry #97
For this October mug drop I've included special spooky features:
Interiors has been changed to a phantasmic purple glaze for this drop only. Hand carved wrinkles throughout the puffer body. Lastly, the eyes of each puffer were carved and hand glazed for a more devilish or zombified look!
Pinched Puffer Perry is a numbered open edition ceramic mug. I sculpted the design and used traditional methods of mold making & slip casting to make this mug.
Inspired by the actual underwater sea creature, the Pufferfish or Fugu! I wanted to design this mug to be fun to hold and to drink from:
I introduced the new idea of pinching hand holds on Puffer Perry when he’s still raw clay.
I also designed in a drink opening through Puffer Perry’s mouth! You can fill him up using the top opening, then drink from his mouth, either with a straw or an intimate mouth to mouth fish kiss.
Check out the spikes on Puffer Perry! Each spike is added individually. The spikes vary in sizes, frequency, and location!
Each mug is glazed by hand with a mixture of underglazes and specialty glazes. Due to the nature of ceramic glazes: each mug, there are slight variations that makes each one unique!
Holds: 20 fl. oz. (filled up to his mouth!)
Size: 6.5 x 5.5 x 4.5”
Mugs will be double boxed, packing peanuts, shipped priority mail - insured.
